Red Bull’s global street dance championship made its India debut with the 2024 World Final in Mumbai, bringing together top dancers from over 30 countries for an electrifying one-on-one battle judged entirely by the audience.

The open-format contest celebrated individuality, musicality and freestyle across genres, set against a high-energy, immersive stage environment.

Ground Control was brought on to design and execute the lighting for the World Final, creating an atmosphere that matched the intensity and spontaneity of each round.

Our setup included programmable moving heads, precise spot cues, and dynamic colour washes that adapted to music shifts and crowd responses in real time. With a circular stage format and a 360° audience layout, the lighting design was tailored for visibility, drama and rhythm-led transitions from every angle—ensuring a powerful and consistent visual experience throughout the night.
